ROSEMONT – The Rosemont College men's soccer team ended up on the short end of a 1-0 final score in a CSAC game against the Immaculata University Mighty Macs under the lights at the Ravens Athletic Complex. The Ravens are now 0-10-1 overall (0-3 CSAC). The Mighty Macs are now sitting on a 4-7 overall record (2-1 CSAC).
The lone goal of the game came in the 28th minute. After being awarded a corner kick, Immaculata's Alex Noel put the corner in front of goal, where the ball was knocked back towards the center, but about five yards out where Kyle Jumalon put boot to ball and made no mistake for his 6th goal of the season, accounting for the only score in the game.
For the Ravens, Kaushik Dhanyamraju had two shots (one on goal) to lead Rosemont. Rosemont keeper Zach Bowe saved sevenof eight Immaculata shots on goal.
The Ravens will now "hit the road" and head to Scranton to face the Marywood Pacers in another conference game on Saturday, 10/10. The game is scheduled for a 4:00pm start.
