Doylestown, PA – The Rosemont Ravens men's lacrosse team (0-4) were seeking their elusive first win of the season this afternoon at Delaware Valley (3-1) in a non-conference contest. The Ravens' Justin Regan would score the first of three straight Rosemont goals, finding the net in a man-up opportunity on a pass from Zach Bowe. Regan's goal was followed by an unassisted goal from Dean Grisoff and Tyler Ferrara's second goal of the game with 0:16 on the clock to knot the score at 4-4 going into the break.
The decisive third period featured four Aggie goals, including two in the final minute to give the home side an 8-4 advantage. Rasool Smith would start the scoring in the fourth quarter, but DelVal scored the next two goals and except for one more score from Ralph Ibezim with 1:09 left in the game, were able to stop the Ravens from causing further damage.
Rosemont's six goals came from five players, led by Tyler Ferrara's two. Dean Grisoff and Zach Bowe both led Rosemont with five ground balls. Purnell Summers had four ground balls and three caused turnovers. Zach Bowe was impressive in the center circle, going 8-for-10 on faceoffs.
