RADNOR, Pa. – Last year's CSAC-Champion Cabrini Cavaliers (5-1-2, 1-0 CSAC) defeated the Rosemont Ravens (0-6-1, 0-1 CSAC) by a final score of 9-1 tonight in men's soccer in what was the 2015 conference-opener for both sides.

The Ravens were scored on by Cabrini's A.J. Bishop in the 7^th minute, and Rosemont could not answer while the host Cavs continued to add to their score in the first half. Javier Alvarado put two of his four first-half shots on goal, but Cabrini keeper CJ Serratore was up to the challenges. Goals in the 17^th, 19^th, 33^rd, and 40^th minutes made the score 5-0 at the break.

In the 59^th minute, Alvarado made his next shot count by beating his defender and hooking the ball inside the far right post to make the score 6-1. The Cavs ultimately outscored the Ravens 4-1 in the second half.

Rosemont will stay on the road for their next game, a non-conference challenge at Widener University on Wednesday, 9/23. Game time is slated for a 4:00pm kick-off.
