Ravens Outhit by Cyclones in Double-Dip

How It Happened

Game 1

With Rosemont trailing 1-0 after two innings, Centenary scored three in the top of the 3rd and another five runs in their half of the 4th inning to stretch out to a 10-1 win.

Game 2

The Ravens trailed 2-1 after one inning of play, but the Cyclones took control starting in the 2nd inning, putting another pair on the board, and adding 12 more runs over the final three innings to take the 16-1 decision.

 

Ravens' Top Performers

·         Brianna Mcauley went 2-for-2 in game one, accounting for half of the Raven's four hits in the game.

·         Nikki Maurer went 1-for-2 in game one, knocking in Macauley in the fourth inning.

 

For the Cyclones

·         The pitching combination of Kylie Morgan-Polefka and Sammie Darling held the Ravens to four hits while striking out four and walking three in game 1.

·         Katie Lauria went all five innings in game two, ceding no earned runs, striking out four and walking none.

·         Leadoff batter Becca Raymond hit 6-for-7 today, scoring six runs with 4 RBI

·         Carolyn Clites went 5-for-7 at the plate, scoring two and knocking in three Cyclones runs
