Women’s Lacrosse Drops Season Opener

How It Happened
 
The visiting Delaware Valley Aggies scored two goals within the first 1:44 of the game to run out to an early 2-0 lead. Jennifer South would answer with a goal just over two minutes later to pull Rosemont to within 2-1. The Aggies would find the back of the net two more times and the Ravens would trail 4-1 with 22:02 left in the half. Jennifer South would hit pay dirt again with 18:15 on the clock to pull Rosemont back to within a couple, trailing 4-2. After that point, however, the Aggies took over offensively for the rest of the half, scoring nine straight goals to grab a 13-2 advantage at the break.
 
Trailing 14-2 in the second half, Melissa Lynch scored her first goal of the season with 24:47 left in the game. With just under seven minutes left in the contest, Jennifer South would score her hat trick goal, but the result of the contest was not in doubt during the second frame.
