How It Happened
 
The Ravens began the game with a two-goal advantage after Victoria Kasper scored 11 minutes into the contest, followed by Jennifer South's first of four scores on the night with 17:17 left on the clock. Bryn Mawr would knot the score at 2-2 with 8:27 left in the half, but the Ravens would respond with the next two goals, both from Jennifer South, to take a 4-2 lead with 5:07 remaining in the first. The teams traded goals over the next three minutes, with Cheyse Henry scoring 45 seconds after the Owls had gotten back to within a goal. Ahead 5-3 with the clock winding down in the half, Bryn Mawr's Alison Spain found the net with 1.7 on the clock to pull back to within a goal of the Ravens, who led 5-4 at the break.
 
Jennifer South scored 3:40 into the second half to give the Ravens another two-goal cushion, 6-4, but Bryn Mawr as a team, and the Owls' Alison Spain specifically would score the next five straight goals to open up a three-goal 9-6 lead for the Owls with 10:25 left in the game. Victoria Kasper would get the Ravens back to within a couple of goals on a score with 9:42 left, but Bryn Mawr would end the game with three free position goals to escape the Ravens Athletic Complex with the 12-7 decision.

  • Jennifer South scored four goals tonight, giving her 11 for the season. She also led the Ravens with four ground balls and two caused turnovers.
  • Victoria Kasper scored a pair of goals, had three ground balls and a caused turnover.
