Ravens Fall On Road To Non-Conference DeSales

How It Happened
The host DeSales University wasted little time this afternoon scoring four times with only 1:47 gone in this afternoon's contest. The visiting Ravens cut the score to 4-1 with 24:16 left in half number one as Victoria Kasper picked up her ninth goal of the season. The Bulldogs however, would score the final seven goals of the half to take an 11-1 lead into the halftime break.

Coming out of the half things did not get better for Rosemont as DeSales found the net 4:45 into half number two pushing the edge to 12-1. The Ravens got their second and final goal of the game when Jennifer South scored her 15th of the season unassisted with 22:40 to play. The Bulldogs added three more in a three-minute span to post the final score of 15-2.

  • Maggie Zaleski picked up a hat trick on four shots and added two assists.
  • Sydney Kane scored a game-high four goals, grabbed three ground balls and won three draw controls.
  • Kelly Meade and Katie Kingsland combined for four goals on eleven shots, six ground balls and eight draw controls won.
  • Katarina Polyviou, Alyssa Mantzouranis, Claire Gogel and Justine DeJesus each chipped in goal.
  • Lori King made just one save in the win.
