Rosemont, PA- The Rosemont women's soccer team looked like a well-oiled machine in their conference win against Clarks Summit University on Saturday afternoon with a final score of 5-0.
The Ravens came out with energy right from the kick-off. Junior,
Avery Bramell, started it off for the Ravens with a goal in the first five minutes of play. Not long after, it was Junior,
Lauren Lightcap's turn to get on the board with a goal. The momentum continued to go in the direction of the Ravens, as
Maciana Mazzeo scored a goal in the 16
th minute of action. Lightcap added an incredible unassisted goal to finish the half with a score of 4-0.
The Defenders stepped up their defense in the second half, but the Ravens were strong on defense as well. Senior,
Emily Johnston, scored a goal in the 85
th minute of play.
Clarks Summit goalie had a well-deserved ten saves. Ravens goalie,
Emma Lindsay, finished with three saves on the day.
The Ravens will be back in action Thursday, October 17
th in a home matchup against University of Valley Forge. The game with kick off at 4:00 pm!
