ROSEMONT, Pa-
Ben Koszelak scored his 100th career goal on Saturday afternoon, adding four tallies to his number. It wasn't enough, however, to keep Rosemont's men's lacrosse team from falling to Immaculata by an 18-11 margin Saturday afternoon in a non-conference game at the Ravens Athletic Complex.
Koszelak became the second Rosemont player in history to break the triple figure mark in goals with his third tally of the afternoon in the third quarter that gave the Ravens a 10-8 lead.
Stephen Licata is the only other Ravens player to break 100 goals, scoring 116 from 2013-16. After his four goal showing on Saturday, Koszelak- a senior attacker- now stands at 101 goals in his career. The four goals today puts him at 21 goals for the 2019 season.
Mason Dennis scored three times for the Ravens while
Brandon Krausse had two goals and four assists on the afternoon.
Immaculata was lead by Steve Long and Cole Metzger, who each scored five times. The Mighty Macs scored nine times in the fourth quarter to rally from behind for the victory.
Rosemont (1-5) returns to the Athletic Complex on Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. to face Bard College in the final tuneup before the Colonial States Athletic Conference season gets underway next Saturday at home against Centenary.
