ROSEMONT - Maciana Mazzeo scored twice while Emily Johnston added her first goal of the season. But it wasn't enough to keep Rosemont from falling to Penn State Abington by a 23-3 margin Tuesday night in a women's lacrosse game at the Ravens Athletic Complex.

Isabel Acosta recorded 16 saves in the loss in her first contest in net for the Ravens. 

Mazzeo has three of Rosemont's four goals on the season and had five shots on Tuesday night- a season high.  Both her and Johnston had three shots on net for the Ravens.

Rosemont (0-3) will return to action on Saturday afternoon in its first Colonial States Athletic Conference contest of the season when they head up the Northeast Extension and play Keystone College at LaPlume, PA. Face off for that game is set for 1 p.m. The Ravens return to the Main Line next Monday night for a makeup contest against Bryn Mawr College. It will be the first of three straight home games for the Ravens, which includes CSAC contests against Notre Dame and Bryn Athyn.
