BRYN ATHYN-
Nick Tortorella battled tough, forcing the top singles match of the day to a third and deciding set before falling. That was the highlight of the afternoon as Rosemont dropped its conference opener to Bryn Athyn 9-0 in a Colonial States Athletic Conference contest in Lower Moreland.
Tortorella took the first set by a 6-4 margin over Vojtech Luzer. However, the top player on the Lions rallied to win by a 7-5 margin in the second set and then won the final set by a 10-8 margin to take the top spot.
The Ravens are back in action on Friday afternoon when they host Keystone College in a CSAC contest at the Rosemont Tennis Complex.
