ROSEMONT-
Lauren Lightcap scored four times while
Holly Brady,
Emily Johnston and
Maciana Mazzeo each added two goals as Rosemont pulled off a second win over Centenary in eight days, this by a 12-6 margin in a Colonial States Athletic Conference women's lacrosse contest on a wind-swept night at the Ravens Athletic Complex.
Rosemont (2-9, 2-4 CSAC) was able to control the play in the second half, outscoring the Cyclones by a 6-1 margin to break the contest wide open.
Avery Bramell and
J'Nea Jenkins also scored goals for the Ravens on Wednesday night.
Isabel Acosta added eight saves in net and did a good job of cutting angles, not giving Centenary shooters good looks at the net from the perimeter.
The win keeps Rosemont's CSAC playoff hopes very much alive. The division leaders in Keystone comes to the Complex on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. After that, Rosemont has games at Bryn Athyn, home against Cedar Crest and at Notre Dame to wrap up the regular season.
The top four make the CSAC playoffs. Currently, Rosemont stands fifth, a half-game behind Cedar Crest in the fourth spot.
