Ravens season ends in CSAC semifinals

La PLUME, Pa - Rosemont's season of rebirth in women's lacrosse came to an end on Wednesday night when the top-seeded Keystone Giants downed the Ravens by a 22-0 score in the Colonial States Athletic Conference semifinals at the Turf Field Complex in La Plume, PA.

The Ravens made the playoffs for the first time in school history and earned three wins after not being able to field a program for the 2018 season due to staffing issues. Rosemont (3-13) was able to get into the tournament as the No. 4 seed in the conference thanks to three CSAC wins over Centenary twice and Cedar Crest once.

Sophomore Savannah Robinson had a big night for the Giants, scoring nine goals and adding two assists on 11 shots on net. The Giants (12-3) also received multiple goals from Alex Smith (4), Nisa Cortes and April Llewellyn (3) and Kayla Bain (2).

For Rosemont, Isabel Acosta made 11 saves in net for the Ravens. Holly Brady and Emily Johnston each had four shots on net to lead the way for the Ravens.
