CHESTERTOWN, MD.-
Emma Lindsay achieved a career high of 16 saves in the loss to Washington College(Md.). Lindsay's 16 saves surpassed her former career high of 13 saves. Despite Lindsay's superb efforts, the Rosemont College women's soccer team fell to Washington College(Md.) in their season opener with a final score of 0-6. The Shorewomen were aggressive on offense throughout the whole game, starting out strong with a goal in the 21st minute from outside of the 18. They were able to keep that momentum going with back to back goals in the 27th and 30th minute.
The second half was no different than the first. The Ravens fought hard to get their offense going, but the offense of the Shorewomen took over. The Shorewomen held the Ravens to just 1 shot taken by
Teagan Dawson.
The Ravens will be back in action Tuesday, September 3rd as they take on Rowan University at 4:00 pm in their first home matchup.
