MSOC DEFEATS ST. VINCENT 2-1

LATROBE, PA-  The Rosemont Ravens won by a score of 2-1 Saturday afternoon at Saint Vincent College against the Bearcats. The Ravens gave up a goal off of a penalty kick in the first half, but continued to battle and were able to score on a penalty kick from Grant Gonzalez with 73:04 left in the game.

The Ravens kept the momentum and took the lead at 86:48 due to a goal by junior Jacob Klumpp. Gonzalez, the goal keeper for the Ravens, held the fort down with 6 saves. Saint Vincent outshot Rosemont 15-7 and 7-5 shots on goal, but the Ravens were still able to prevail.

 The Ravens will take on the Ospreys of Stockton University on Wednesday, September 18 at 5:00 pm.
