Doylestown, PA- The Rosemont women's soccer team defeated the Aggies of Delaware Valley University by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday night.

Rosemont played with great intensity throughout the game. The first half was a defensive battle and the score was tied 0-0 going into half time.

Junior, Maciana Mazzeo scored a goal for Rosemont at the 7:48 mark of the second half. The Ravens played excellent defense and were able to hold onto the lead. The Ravens were the more aggressive team and out shot Delaware Valley 8-6. Sophomore goalie, Emma Lindsay, played superb defense and had six saves for Rosemont.
 
Rosemont improved their record to 2-3 with back to back wins as they have a chance to improve their record to .500. The Ravens will face Maritime College on Saturday, September 21^st at 12:00 pm.
