IMMACULATA, PA- Rosemont men's soccer traveled to Immaculata, PA to take on the Mighty Macs of Immaculata University on Monday evening and were able to leave with the win finishing 2-0.
After a scoreless first half,
Josh Mason came through in the second half with a big time goal assisted by
Daniel Hogan. The Mighty Macs outshot the Ravens and had more corner kicks, but the Ravens were able to execute when it counted most. The Ravens remained aggressive in the second half, which led to a goal from
Nick Tortorella in the 79
th minute of play.
The strong defense of the Ravens was able to hold off the Mighty Macs from scoring in the second half, which secured the win for Rosemont. Goal keeper,
Grant Gonzalez, finished with a season high 11 saves.
The Ravens will be back home on Saturday, October 5
th for their conference opener against Centenary University.
