How It Happened

• Mitchell College took an early 2-0 lead in the 1^st inning.
• It was a pitching battle the rest of the way as both Christina Broccolino for Rosemont and Kacee Hirst for Mitchell pitched very well.
• Mitchell College went on to win the game 2-0.

How It Happened

• During the first 3 innings, neither team was able to get on the board because of superb pitching by both starting pitchers, Taylor Lindsay for York and Dani Sharpe for Rosemont.
• York took a 1-0 lead in the top of the 4^th inning on a wild pitch.
• The Spartans would add 6 runs in the top of the 5^th inning to take a 7-0 lead.
• The Spartans added 2 more runs in the 6^th inning, to go on to win the game 9-0.
