Morristown, NJ-The Rosemont women's soccer team beat St. Elizabeth University 4-2 over the weekend on the road. The Eagles took the lead early with a goal in the 15th minute, but SR Teagan Dawson tied up the game with an assist from SO Danielle DiMarco in the 40th minute. The Ravens went into halftime outshooting the Eagles 5 to 2.
In the second half, the Eagles took the lead again in the 62nd minute. The Ravens continued to battle and JR Mackenzie Morice tied up the game with a goal in the 75th. SO Maggie Feaser scored the game winner in the 81st minute with assist from SR Maciana Mazzeo. Less than five minutes later, SO Maggie Feaser earned a brace, giving the Ravens an assurance goal and securing their victory over the Eagles.
Coach DeLitta was very proud of her teams' performance and shared this after the match, "Maggie controlled the midfield play against St. Elizabeth. She dominated getting back on defense and looking to lead players to goal with phenomenal passes. She scored the game-winning goal and then locked in Rosemont with a second and Final goal of the game, helping Rosemont to with their second conference game of the season".
Maggie's performance earned her a spot on the CSAC Honor Roll this week.
The Ravens return to the pitch, Wednesday October 20th, against the University of Valley Forge at 4:00pm on "They Gray".
