Rosemont, PA- Rosemont softball took home two victories in the sweep against Clarks Summit on Wednesday afternoon. The Ravens were aided by several errors in game one, winning 4-0, then took game two 10-5. The Ravens stand at 4-4 on the season.

Game 1 

• After a scoreless inning and a half in game one, the Ravens were able to scratch across a pair of runs on a bases-loaded walk and a single.
• Clarks Summit took their turn in the bottom half of the second but was shut down on three straight batters.
• The Ravens then capitalized with two runners in scoring position to increase their lead to 4-0.
• The pitching and defense from the Ravens were stellar the rest of the way, not allowing another CSU runner to reach safely.
• Dani Sharpe led the Ravens with two RBI's in game one
• Brittney Strauss and Christina Broccolino both added one RBI each for the Ravens 
• The Ravens went on to collect their third win of the season, 4-0.

Game 2 

•  The Ravens stayed consistent and produced five runs on six hits to put the Rosemont up 6-3
• Both teams went scoreless in the third, then Clarks Summit matched the Ravens run in the fourth.
• Coming into the sixth the Ravens led 7-4
• Rosemont pushed three runs across home plate on four hits and were helped out with a trio of errors by CSU.
• Emily Bingman led the way for the Ravens with four RBI's 
• Brittney Strauss added two RBI's 
• Nine different Ravens added a run to push to make it a complete team win
• The Ravens finished game two with a 10-5 win
