Rosemont, PA- The Rosemont women's tennis team competed in their first match of the season at home on Wednesday afternoon against Cairn University. The Ravens lost 8-1. 

The doubles team of Chase Leonard and Kelly Shaugnessy struggled in their first match falling 8-0. The second doubles matchup featured Nicole Angelo and Evora Maemaenolaelani Kaiwi. The pair fell short to the Highlanders finishing 8-1. 

The Ravens fought hard and were able to win a singles matchup that featured Chase Leonard (3-6, 6-2, 10-4). 

Next up, the Ravens will take on Cedar Crest College at home on Saturday, April 17th at 1:00 pm.
