Ravens Fall to Cairn University on the Road 5-1

Langhorne, PA- The Ravens traveled to Cairn University this past Saturday to play the Highlanders, but were sent home with a 5-1 loss.

Rosemont allowed 4 goals in the first half, but continued to battle the Highlanders in the second half. In the 63rd minute, SR Maciana Mazzeo put the Ravens on the board with assist from SO Margaret Feaser. Unfortunately, Cairn was able to sneak one more goal in before the end of the second half, making the final score 5-1.

Rosemont Coach Kathleen DeLitta said she was proud of the team for never giving up despite the score. The Ravens are back on the road this Wednesday, September 29th at Wilson College at 5:00pm and will return home this Saturday, October 2nd at 3:00pm where they will face off against Gwynedd Mercy University.
