Chester, PA- The Rosemont Ravens Softball team lost both games of a tough double header Friday against Widener University 6-5, and 8-5. The first game was a true heartbreaker for the Ravens who scored 4 runs in the final inning to take the lead, but could not hold off two more runs from Widener in the bottom half of the inning.

Dani Sharpe pitched 6.1 innings allowing 6 runs on 7 hits to go along with 2 strikeouts. Game two was a back-and-forth affair that was tied after 7, but the Ravens ended up losing in extra inning on a game winning home run. JR

Lauren Begg pitched six strong innings of 4 hit 4 run ball. She was relieved by JR
Nina Foy who fell to 1-2 on the season after allowing 4 runs, 2 earned on 1 hit.
The Ravens will be back on the field against Eastern University Wednesday, March 16
th for a double header, starting at 3 PM & 5 PM.
