Wednesday the the Lady Raven's took on the tough opponent of Gwynedd Mercy Griffins.
How it Happened:
For the entire first half, Rosemont was on the defensive end. With the Griffins having six corner kicks in the first half, big defensive stops and six saves made by
Emily Rossino kept the Raven's to a tied contest at the end of the half. The second half Rosemont was able to apply some offensive pressure and move the ball around the pitch. It was back and forth as the Griffins struck first in the 80' minute,
Emily Rossino tallied a total of 13 saves (career high) over the course of the game. Her efforts were not enough as the girls lost 1-0.Â
What's Next:
The Girls will travel to Immaculata University on Saturday to play on the campus at 3pm. As they look to secure their first win of the year on the road.Â
