Albright traveled to the Rosemont Athletic Complex to take on the Ravens on The Grey.
How it Happened:
Starting from kickoff 28 seconds into the match Albright committed the first foul setting the tone for a physical game. The first ten minutes was all Rosemont as they fired five shots on goal including three shots by
Sean Milelli and four corners. Albright fired back with a shot of their own only to tipped off target by
Gunner Hoffman for his first save of the match. For the next twenty minutes it was a lot of good back and forth soccer with minimal fouls and minimal offense for wither team, credited to the coaches for the timed substitutions keeping fresh legs on the pitch. Then with three yellow cards within six minutes of each other, you could see the intensity from both team ramp up as the half wound to a 0-0 45' finish.Â
The second half started with a Yellow Card by Rosemont's
Ian Dolan which allowed some offensive attempts for Albright but they were unable to capitalize as one of the clears found
Sean Milelli who crossed to
John Pepe to score his first colligate goal with his right foot shooting into the bottom left corner at the 57' mark. Rosemont would ramp up their defensive intensity as the Men only allowed one shot for the rest of the game, ending in a 1-0 win for the Ravens.Â
