Rosemont, PA| Rosemont Women's Soccer Hosted Saint Elizabeth University This Past Saturday at 1pm on the Grey.
How it Happened:
Starting between the posts for the Ravens was
Amanda Ritter as the Eagles kicked off the contest. Rosemont would have back to back offside to start the game but would hold offensive possession for a majority of the game. Shots by
Sarah Warner and
Brianna Samson would open up the field for the Ravens. This allowed for a shot by
Erin McLaughlin to find the back of the net off of an assist from
Rena Kotsedakis, giving the Ravens a 1-0 advantage to end the first half.Â
Elizabeth Giamboy would start the second half in the net for the Ravens. The Ravens defense would dominate for the entirety of the game only allowing three shots the half along with zero in the first half. A foul in the box for SEU would set up a Penalty Kick for
Erin McLaughlin to score her second goal of the game to give the Ravens a 2-0 advantage as they would hold on for the victory 2-0 over the Eagles.Â
