Virginia Beach , VA | Rosemont Traveled south to Virginia Wesleyan to take on the Marlins in its 2nd game of the season
How it Happened:
The Marlins started off fast and got a goal in the opening 3 minutes to take the lead. The Ravens quickly recovered and played a tough offensive squad that had 15 total shots in the half alone versus the Ravens 3 shots. Gunner Hoffman saved 6 shots in the half holding the Marlins lead to 2. The 2nd half showed better defense by the Ravens but limited offense. Sean Milleli scored the Ravens first goal of the 2024 campaign on an 89th minute Penalty Kick.
The game was a tough physical one resulting in 9 cards given out and a great test for the Ravens as they played a well powered offensive team.
