Rosemont, PA| The William Patterson Pioneers Traveled Down to Rosemont to Take On The Ravens at the Rosemont Athletic Complex.
How it Happened:
William Patteron started out with the early offensive possession putting the pressure on the Ravens defense early. An offside would shift the momentum to the ravens as Justin Thomas would find Antonio Amoroso for a Ravens goal giving them a 1-0 advantage in the 8'. Back and forth with opportunities for both teams shut down by defense, Rosemont would make the first changes of the match bringing on fresh legs in the 31'. Multiple Yellow cards brought the half to a close as the Ravens held a 1-0 advantage.
The second half was welcomed with a slight rain and wind storm that would blow over. Rosemont would open with multiple shots on goal to start the half, but the Pioneers would tie the game at 1-1 in the 54'. Clutch saves by Gunner Hoffman between the posts would hold the game tied as the wind continued to rip through Rosemont. Substitutions by both sides would keep fresh keep fresh legs on the field keeping both sides uncomfortable, as neither side was able to score for the rest of the competition. Gunner Hoffman would end the game with Ten saves in the Match as the Ravens would tie the Pioneers 1-1.
