Rosemont College JV (0-2) lost the series to Camden County College (3-1)

The Ravens lost game one to the Cougars 3-1 

Senior Alex Rausch got the nod for the JV season opener. Rausch tossed 3.1 innings giving up 2 hits, 2 unearned runs, and striking out 1. Freshman Nicholas Fratangeli came in relief going 2.2 innings, while allowing 1 hit, 1 earned run, and striking out 4.  

Offensively, the Ravens were down early 2-0 in the second inning. The Ravens fought back in the third as Nicholas Vitale had an RBI groundout making it a 2-1 game. After that the Ravens bats would cool off as they left 15 batters on base.  

By the Numbers  

Freshman Gary Kroll led the way offensively for the Ravens going 2 for 3 in game 1 with a walk. Freshman Sam Harrison went 1 for 3 as well. 

The Ravens lost game 2 to the Cougars 12-5  

Freshman Anderw Klitsch started game 2 for the Ravens going 1.1 allowing 2 hits, 6 earned runs, and 3 walks. Junior Pat McCallister came in for 1 inning of relief. Giuseppe Bentrovato came in to continue the game for the Ravens. Lastly, Anthony Galli tossed 2.2 innings and struck out 3.  

Offensively, the Ravens had a much better game as they put together 8 hits and scored 5 runs. In the top of the fourth, Fratangeli had an RBI single to put the Ravens on the board. The Ravens would start to chip away in the 5th and 6th, putting together 4 runs to make it a 12-5 ballgame.  

By the Numbers  

Nick Vitale went 2 for 4 in game 2 with an RBI. Six other Ravens also had a hit on the day.
