Chambersburg, PA | The Rosemont Ravens Traveled to Chambersburg to Take on Wilson College in an United East Matchup.
How it Happened: #12 Josie Krieman would start pitching for the Ravens.
The Ravens offense would struggle to get going early in the contest. Leaving two runners on base with one out in the second inning.
Josie Krieman would escape jams in the first and third inning stranding five runner for Wilson in the first 3 innings. The Phoenix would get on the board in the bottom of the fourth inning to take the lead 0-1. The Ravens would respond in the top of the fifth inning as
Kylee Kubitschek would reach on a walk with no outs and smart base running would find herself on third with one out.
Josie Krieman would find an RBI with a sacrifice fly to score Kubitschek tying the game 1-1. Wilson would take control in the bottom of the fifth inning scoring eight runs capturing game one 1-9 over the Ravens.
Game Two: #7 Alicia Gotts would get the ball for the Ravens to start the second game.
In the top of the first inning
Alicia Gotts would single up the middle with one out, stealing second and third base, Emilee Dickenson would drive her home on a ground out. Wilson would respond with six runs in the bottom of the first inning as they got to Alicia. The Ravens would not give up, scoring two more runs in the top of the second inning.
Bailee Greise would reach on a walk, stealing second with one out.
Rose Chando would pinch run for Greise as
Kylee Kubitschek would double into the outfield gap putting Chando on third. Chando would score on a wild pitch followed by and RBI groundout by MyLayna Blanco scoring Kubitschek to cut the Phoenix lead 3-6. Wilson would tack on another run in the bottom of the second inning to extend their lead 3-7.Great pitching and defense would slow down both offenses were held scoreless; Caitlen LeGreca would come into start the fourth for the Ravens holding the game until the top of the sixth inning as Emille Dickenson would lead off the Ravens with a double.
Maria Harrison would reach on an error with two outs as Dickenson scored on the play to cut Wilson lead back down to three runs 4-7. The Phoenix would respond in the bottom of the sixth extending their lead back to four runs. The Ravens would fall to the Phoenix in the end 4-8.

The Ravens will return home as they take on Washington College of Maryland for a double header starting at 4pm. Go Ravens!
