Rosemont, PA | The Rosemont Ravens Men's Lacrosse Welcomed The Cairn Highlanders to the Grey for the final home United East Matchup of the Season.
How it Happened: Starting in goal for the Ravens was #28 Andrew "juice" Menold.
The Ravens would get out to an early jump on the Highlanders as kody Lubischer would find goal number one for the Ravens assisted by Fran Usavage.
Bai Saine would score the Ravens second goal forty five second later assisted by
Greg Wever. Scoring their third goal in a two minute span NaVarro Blakes would give Rosemont a 3-0 advantage over the Highlanders three minutes into the contest. The defensive unit coached by Osaze Thorton did a phenomenal job of forcing turnovers and creating bad shot attempts for the Highlanders the entire first quarter. The Ravens would build off their great defense as
Frank Usavage would score assisted by NaVarro Blakes followed by
Kody Lubischer for his second goal of the game.
Greg Wever would add one more goal for the Ravens at the end of the first period as they led the Highlanders 6-0. The Rosemont offense would stay hot through the start of the second as
Greg Wever would extend the lead to seven. Cairn would break through for a flurry of goals in the second scoring five unanswered goals to bring the score 7-5.
Jayden Hogg would stop the highlanders run with a goal of his own assisted by
Frank Usavage, followed by another goal from NaVarro Blakes  assisted by Wever. The Highlanders would add two more goals to end the first half but not before
Frank Usavage would add one more for the Ravens as they entered the half with the lead 10-7.
James Czarnaski would come into the game for the Ravens replace Andrew Menold in goal. In the third quarter the offense would not slow down as
Michael Dukes broke through for his first goal of the game on an assist from NaVarro Blakes. Frank Usavge would add his third goal assisted by
Greg Wever as the Ravens led 12-8.
Kody Lubischer would add another goal to extend the Ravens lead assisted by NaVarro Blakes. The Highlanders would fight back cutting the Ravens lead to three goals before
Greg Wever would throw a shot top right to extend the Ravens lead to four headed into the fourth.Â
