Ravens Secure First Win in Program History Over Delaware Valley

Bryn Mawr, PA | The Rosemont Ravens Welcomed The Aggies of Delaware Valley to The Rosemont Athletic Complex for a Contest on The Grey.

How it Happened: Starting in goal for the Ravens was #28 Andrew "Juice" Menold.

The Rosemont Ravens would come out on fire as The Aggies struggled to match their intensity. NaVarro Blakes would get the Ravens on the board in the first two minutes assisted by defenseman Nathan Edwards. Frank Usavage would follow with another goal for the Ravens at the eight minute mark assisted by Blakes top give Rosemont a 2-0 lead over the Aggies. The Ravens offense continued to find holes as Ralph Jeudy stepped down and scored for the Ravens third goal giving them a 3-1 lead to end the first quarter.
In the second the offensive pressure was to much for the Aggies as Rosemont tallied four goals in two minutes on the clock. Three goals would be scored by NaVarro Blakes, and the other by Jayden Hogg. This parade of shots would give them a 7-1 lead early in the 2nd quarter. The Aggies would respond but not before Ralph Jeudy added one more goal for the Ravens going into the half with the lead 8-3. Andrew Menold would sub out in goal for James Czarnaski at the half after six saves.

The Aggies would come out of the half hot, scoring fast and closing in on the Ravens lead. NaVarro Blakes would expand the Ravens lead 9-5 with the assist coming from Frank Usavage. Delaware would close in on Rosemont's lead to end the third 9-7. This is when the Ravens defense locked in, they did not allow a goal for the rest of the game. James Czarnaski would tally five saves in the fourth locking up the Aggies. NaVarro Blakes would extend the Ravens lead for his sixth goal of the game followed by Ralph Jeudy's hat trick goal as the Ravens closed out the Aggies 11-7.

NaVarro Blakes would lead the Ravens with six goals and two assists, followed by both goalies James Czarnaski, and Andrew Menold each racking six saves for the Ravens.
