Chambersburg, PA| The Rosemont Ravens Softball Team Traveled to Wilson College for Round One of the United East Playoffs.
How it Happened: Josie Krieman took the Ball for the Ravens as they set off in Round One of the United East Playoffs.
Kendyll Strohl would reach on a dropped third strike and steal second to give the Ravens a runner in scoring position with one out.
Emilee Dickinson would draw a walk to put two runners on with one out. The Ravens would strand both runners top end the top of the first inning. In the bottom of the first Krieman was able to force a lead off ground out but the Phoenix would find a string of hits followed by a fielding error by the Ravens, putting them back 0-7 at the end of the first.
Kylee Kubitschek would lead off with a walk in the start of the second inning advancing to third on a wild pitch.
Josie Krieman would draw a walk with wo outs putting runners on the scorners but again the Ravens were unable to bring in runners. Wilson would add on three more runs in the bottom of the second inning as the Ravens trailed 0-10.
A pitching change for Wilson would shut down the Ravens offense in the top of the third as they went 1-2-3. In the bottom of the third
Caitlin LaGreca would come into pitch for
Josie Krieman. Leading off with a strikeout, Wilson would add two more runs in the bottom of the third.Â
In the top of the fourth the Ravens would fail to find a base runner headed into the bottom of the fourth where the Ravens defense would step up to hold Wilson scoreless.Â
Josie Krieman would single down the line with one out in the fifth followed by a double by
Kendyll Strohl to score Krieman. The Ravens would loss after five innings to end their season 1-12 in the first round of the United East Playoffs.
