Keith Conway


Keith Conway was Named the Fifth Head Coach in the History of Rosemont’s Men’s Soccer Program, Athletic Director Richard Casey Welcomed Keith on January 16th, 2025.

 

Coaching  

 

Conway, joins the Ravens program from Alvernia University (Reading, PA) where he was an assistant for one season. Keith was responsible for video analysis, practice warm ups and cool down, along with recruiting. The previous three seasons at Ursinus College as assistant coach, Conway and the team had the school's best start to a season (6-1), along with a win over ranked John Hopkins University, and the second winning season in the schools history. 

Conway also has experience at the semi-professional club level with USL 2 club, Reading United. Conway is currently assistant coach for the USL 2 team which consists of some of the top Division players across the country and the team qualified for the National playoffs last season, losing to Vermont Green in the playoffs. Conway is also Head Coach of the Reading Reserves team who compete in the summer CASA league and is made up of local Division 2 and 3 players as well as the top high school players in Bucks County.

At club level, Conway has held several leadership positions including Technical Director at King of Prussia Soccer Club from 2020-2022 and currently coaches the 2013 Boys and 2006/2007 Boys teams at West-Mont United Soccer Club since 2023.

Personal

 

Previously in Ireland, Conway worked as a High School Physical Education and English teacher for six years and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Master’s Degree in Education. He also has 10 years soccer coaching experience in Ireland and 20 years playing experience. Conway played for successful grassroots clubs growing up such as Kildare County and Lourdes Celtic, who other previous players include former Irish internationals, Damien Duff, Niall Quinn and Andy Reid.

 

Conway holds several coaching licenses from UEFA and is currently doing his UEFA B license with the Football Association of Wales and also holds a USSF C license. Conway lives in Collegeville with his four children and wife, Brein.

 

Rosemont welcomes Keith, his wife Brein along with their family to The Ravens Soccer Program.
