Boomer Steigelman

 Boomer Steigelman was hired as the Women's Soccer Head Coach at Rosemont College in January 2020. Steigelman will enter his first year as the women's soccer head coach for the upcoming fall 2020 season. 

Steigelman comes to Rosemont from Saint Joseph's men's soccer coaching staff in Fall 2019. Steigelman was in charge of helping promote camps, breaking down film with the staff and assisting the staff in any way possible. 

Steigelman arrived on Hawk Hill by way of Holy Family University, where he served as the assistant women's soccer coach from 2016-18. At Holy Family the team reached 14 win season in Steigelman's first season.  Boomer is currently a club coach at the Ukrainian Nationals were he coaches some of the top teams in the country. In 2018 he served as an assistant coach in the Development Academy at the Ukrainian Nationals.Steigelman played professionally with the MASL Harrisburg Heat (2015-17) before signing with the MASL Rochester Lancers in 2018-19. With the Lancers, Steigelman was the MASL Offensive Player of the Year and an All-League First Team pick after leading the MASL 2 in assists and the Lancers in points.

Boomer was a four-year standout and team captain at Cabrini University. At Cabrini Steigelman won a CSAC Championship in 2012 against Rosemont. Steigelman had an assist in that game. Boomer Steigelman earned 2012 All-Catholic First Team and Team Offensive Most Valuable Player honors as a senior in high school. Boomer attended North Catholic were he was coach by two of his coaching mentors, Larry Sullivan and Jerry Brindiski. After North Catholic closed, he then went on to graduate from Roman Catholic High School.

Steigelman graduated from Cabrini University in May 2015 with a degree in education and is a product of Roman Catholic High School '12, where he returned as an assistant varsity soccer coach in 2015. He owns a United States Soccer Federation National "C" Coaching License.
