Becky Bonner

Becky Bonner- a veteran of coaching and administration from years at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY- has been named the new head women's tennis coach at Rosemont College, Director of Athletics Joseph Pavlow announced on Friday.

"I'm very excited to join the Rosemont Ravens coaching staff," Bonner said. "I'm hopeful to work towards the success of earlier years at Rosemont and build a strong and lasting program on and off the court. I can't wait to get to the know the student athletes and have a great season in Spring 2019."

Bonner served as head women's tennis coach at Roberts Wesleyan from 2011 to 2018. At that time, Bonner served on the NCAA Division II Tennis Coaches Council, the NCAA Division II Tennis Regional Advisory Committee and the National NCCAA All-American Selection Committee.

In addition, Bonner was the Assistant Athletic Director and NCAA Senior Woman Administrator at Roberts Wesleyan.

""I am extremely excited for Becky to take over our Women's Tennis program," Pavlow said. She has demonstrated a commitment to the student-athlete experience that we are trying to cultivate here at Rosemont. We're looking forward to a long and successful relationship as we reestablish our women's tennis program into a contender in the CSAC and a competitive force in the region."

Bonner is a graduate of Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, receiving her Master of Science degree in strategic leadership at Roberts Wesleyan. Bonner is a USPTA and PTR certified professional and has served as a teaching pro at the Midtown and North Hollow Hills clubs.
