Coach Tremoglie is a graduate of Philadelphia's Roman Catholic High School and was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame.

He then went to St. Joseph's University and played for 4 years, primarily as a first baseman, and batted .280 for his career. 5 years after graduating from St. Joe's, Tremoglie returned to the University as an assistant coach for their Division I program from 2001-2004 and then again from 2011-2012. In between the 2 stints at St. Joe's, Tremoglie returned to his high school, Roman Catholic, as the head coach from 2005-2010.

He also worked as an assistant coach at Springfield High School in Delaware County for 1 year prior to heading to Eastern University, where he served as an assistant for 4 seasons, working with the hitters,
first basemen and outfielders. 

Tremoglie has also served as an Associate Scout for the Philadelphia Phillies for several years.

He lives in Broomall with his wife Amanda and their oldest daughter Alexa, and twin children, Jordyn and A.J.
