Jim Feeny

Jim Feeny enters his third season coaching at the collegiate level after being named the Rosemont Volleyball interim head coach. Feeny is an experienced coach with success at the high school and club levels.

From 2007 to 2011, Feeny was the head of the volleyball program at the Country Day School of the Sacred Heart. The team did not compete at the varsity level until the coach's second season, but when they did the finished with an 11-7 record, placing several members on the All-Main Line and All-Delaware County teams. The team finished second at districts in 2009 with a record of 12-4. The following season, Feeny's team were crowned District I Champions and placed 8th in the state among A schools. They repeated at district champions and earned a second-consecutive 8th place in the state in 2011.

After the 2011 season, Feeny accepted the varsity head coaching position at Great Valley High School. In his lone season at GVHS, Feeny coached a player to All-League and All-Tournament teams. Two of his players led the league in blocks and another was selected as the Player of the Week in the state of PA.

Prior accepting the position at Rosemont, Feeny served as the director and head coach of the Liberty Belle Volleyball Club. Feeny coached the 14, 16, and 18 year old teams. At least eight of his players at the 18's level have gone on to play collegiately. Under Feeny the Liberty Belles have earned medals at several tournaments including the East Coast Championships, the Northeast Qualifier, and the AAU Grand Prix. The coach also ran camps and clinics for the club.
