LANGHORNE, Pa. – The Rosemont women's volleyball team put up a good effort in their CSAC match against the host Cairn University Highlanders, but the Ravens ended up being defeated 3-0 by set scores of 25-15, 25-22 and 25-14. The Ravens are now 2-14 overall (1-4 CSAC). The Highlander's overall record now stands at 7-11 (3-1 CSAC).
Eve Romanowski led both teams with nine kills on 27 total attacks. She also led the Ravens with three service aces. Rookie Taylor Gasperi led the Ravens with seven digs. Nadirah Anderson and Leilani Carter were each credited with two blocks, one solo and one block assist each.
Lexy Mrongowius had 21 assists for Rosemont.
The Ravens had four blocks compared to one by the Highlanders.
On Tuesday, 10/7, the Ravens will return home to host the Cabrini Cavaliers in a CSAC match starting at 7:00pm.
