SCRANTON, Pa. – The host Marywood Pacers raced out to a 12-point lead with less than five minutes played and did not look back as the Ravens absorbed a conference loss tonight by a final score of 73-41. It was the first conference loss of the season for Rosemont who fell to 1-5 (1-1 CSAC). The Pacers won their first CSAC game and moved to 3-2 (1-0 CSAC) with the result.
Marywood outscored Rosemont 40-17 in the first half and by 33-24 in the second half to account for the final score.
Rosemont's Liz Coyne and Jasmyn Parker each scored 10 points to lead the Ravens. Dominique Sellers pulled down seven rebounds for Rosemont.
Marywood's Danielle Terranella shot 9-for-11 to score 18 points. Tara Steakin hit on 5-for-6, including 4-for-5 from downtown for 16 points.
The Ravens hope to bounce back and regain their shooting touch when they return to the friendly confines of Alumnae Hall as they next take to the hardwood against the Keystone Giants in a CSAC game. The game is scheduled for a 1:00pm start on Saturday, 12/6 in the first game of a home doubleheader.
