ROSEMONT –Defenses of Rosemont and Cabrini were in top form today, and so it was one lone goal that proved to be decisive. A score by Cabrini's Devon Miller in the 26th minute was the only tally of the game as the Ravens fell to the visiting Cabrini Cavaliers by a final score of 1-0. With the result the Ravens' record sits at 4-8 (3-3 CSAC) while Cabrini improved to 4-5-1 overall (4-0 CSAC).
Miller's goal was set up as she eluded her defender and beat the Rosemont keeper with a shot into the right side for the score.
Jenna Kaiser was strong in the Rosemont goal, playing the last 63 ½ minutes and saving all five Cabrini shots on goal.
The one goal ceded by the Ravens was the fewest number of goals ever given up to Cabrini in what was now the sixth time the two programs have met.
The Ravens return to action on Tuesday, when they will face the Gators of Notre Dame of Maryland University in Baltimore. The kick-off at NDMU is slated for 4:00pm.
