ROSEMONT – The Rosemont College volleyball team gave Hood College and The City College of New York a difficult time this afternoon in a tri-match hosted by Rosemont in Alumnae Hall, but ultimately the Ravens came up short in both contests to complete their 2015 season with an overall record of 2-22 (2-9 CSAC).
The Ravens were certainly in with a chance in both matches today, but they fell to Hood College 3-0 (25-19 25-11, 25-20) and CCNY 3-2 (18-25, 17-25, 25-13, 25-20, 15-8).
In the match against Hood, Morgan Rollins had nine kills and Leilani Carter added six kills. Nadirah Anderson had three blocks.
In the match against CCNY, Anderson had 11 kills while Morgan had 10. The team combined for 16 service aces, with Leilani Carter accounting for nine service aces.
Today's tri-match ended the 2015 campaign for the team.
