Radnor, Pa. – The nationally-ranked #14 Cabrini Cavaliers (6-5, 2-0 CSAC) had little difficulty this afternoon, dispatching the Rosemont Ravens (2-7, 1-1 CSAC) by a final score of 22-2.
Cabrini scored all seven goals in the first quarter and eventually opened up an 11-0 cushion with five minutes left in the half. Justin Regan took a pass from Stephen Licata on a man-up opportunity with just under three minutes left in the half, but Cabrini would score the final two goals in the last 34 seconds to go into the break with a lead of 13-1.
Cabrini scored all six goals in the third quarter and the first three goals in the final period before Justin Regan would score on a man-up opportunity with 2 ½ minutes left in the game to end the scoring for the day.
The Ravens have a week to prepare for their next conference match. They will return home to host the Neumann Knights on Wednesday, 4/8. The game will be played under the lights at the Ravens Athletic Complex starting at 7:00pm.
