Defense Rules in Scoreless Tie

ROSEMONT – The Rosemont Ravens men's soccer team faced the Delaware Valley University Aggies tonight in a non-conference game. After 110 minutes of play, neither team was able to notch a goal, as the teams finished with a 0-0 tie after double-overtime.

The Ravens looked like an improved team tonight, holding the majority of the time of possession tonight, but although both teams had great scoring opportunities, none were cashed in.

Full credit to the Rosemont defense. Keeper Zach Bowe stopped eight Aggie shots on goal to share the shutout with DelVal's Austin Brotman, who made three saves tonight.

Cavit Ula led the Ravens with six shots, followed by three shots apiece from Jelani James and Kaushik Dhanyamraju.

Next up for the Ravens is a trip to Hood College on Saturday, 9/19. The non-conference game will kick off at 12:00 noon.
