FREDERICK, Md. – The Rosemont College men's soccer team (0-5-1) were outgunned in the second half by the host Hood Blazers (6-2) this afternoon. After falling behind 1-0 after the first half, Hood scored three times in the second half to put the game away, 4-0.
The Ravens played close to the Blazers in the first half, although they were out-shot 17-0 in the period. Full credit goes to the Ravens' keeper, Zach Bowe, who stopped six shots-on-goal in the first half to keep his team within one score in the half.
Today's was the first of four straight games to be played on the road for the Ravens. Their next test will come at Cabrini on Monday, 9/21 at 7:00pm. The game will be the first conference tilt of the season for the Ravens.
