How It Happened

·         The Griffins opened up a double-digit lead after four minutes were played, and although the Ravens pecked away to get the lead back down to seven points with 5:50 left in the half, Gwynedd Mercy would, for all intents and purposes, put the game out of reach of the home side by putting together a 13-0 run to grab a 20-point lead, 48-28 over the next 3:36 and would lead 48-31 at the halftime break.
·         The Ravens were outscored 55-40 in the second half.

Ravens' Top Performers

·         Marcus Thomas led the Ravens in scoring with 13 points.

·         Clayton Wolfe scored 12, Jamier Hughes scored 11, and Chris Morgan scored 10 to account for the Ravens in double-figures this afternoon

·         Jamier Hughes grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Ravens

For the Griffins

·         Darnell Artis led the game in scoring with 24 points on 8-for-11 shooting from the field

·         Julian Hyden shot 8-for-12 to tally 20 points

·         Arron Goodman hit on 7-for-11 from the field to score 15 points.

·         Goodman and Hyden each were credited with eight rebounds to lead the Griffins

Stats of the Game

·         The Griffins shot more accurately from the field, hitting at a 60.7% clip compared to Rosemont's 33.8%.

·         From outside the arc, the Griffins shot 46.2% compared to Rosemont's 23.5%.

·         Rosemont turned over the ball six more times than Gwynedd Mercy (15 vs. 9).

·         The Griffins scored 21 points off of turnovers compared to five points off of turnovers earned by the Ravens.
