How It Happened
On Family Day at the RAC the soccer doubleheader culminated in a men's match between Marywood and Rosemont. It was the Pacers who struck first on what was scored an own goal off a Raven defender in the 20th minute. A little over two minutes later at the 22:01 mark it would be Marywood's Matthew Hull who slid one past keeper Zach Bowe to make it 2-0. Just before the half Rosemont got one back after a handball was called in the box. Nick Bombard stepped up from 12 yards and drove the penalty kick into the net making it 2-1 at halftime.

In the second half the rain would start to fall, but the energy of the two teams stayed high. The Pacers increased their lead at 62:38 when Hull once again got involved; this time setting up teammate Daniel Gallagher who put one into the goal staking Marywood to a 3-1 lead. The Ravens pulled back to within one when Cavit Ula blasted one from 25 yards past keeper Patrick Brogan making it 3-2 with 8:44 left to play. From there Rosemont threw everything they could at the Pacers, but were kept off the scoreboard. This allowed Marywood to leave the wet turf victorious.
