How It Happened

On Family Day at the RAC it was the visiting Marywood University who got off to a quick start. In the 19th minute Megan Swiecicki took a ball that glanced off of teammate Julie Youngman and slotted into the lower left corner of the net to take a 1-0 lead. It stayed that way until the 34:24 mark when Natalia Colasurdo blasted one from 22 yards out putting the Pacers up 2-0 at halftime. Marywood outshot the Ravens in the half 11-1.

In the second half things would improve for Rosemont. As they got one back in the 59th minute when Madeline Polino took a cross from Melissa Lynch in the 18 yard box and put it past keeper Aly Moyer to make it 2-1. Unfortunately for the Ravens, that score would change two minutes later when the Pacers Youngman scored making it 3-1. Marywood tacked on one more in the 65th minute as Brianna Bruster made it 4-1. Rosemont closed out the scoring on the afternoon when Darby O'Rourke took a pass from Victoria Kasper and put it behind Moyer closing out the scoring at 4-2.
