How It Happened
The Ravens needed a spark to snap their six-game skid, and it came from a defender when
Melissa Lynch headed in a cross from
Madeline Polino to score her first career goal, putting the Ravens ahead 1-0 in the 9
th minute. The good news was that the Ravens had the lead. The bad news was they would need to hold on for another 81 minutes.
In the second half, with the Ravens still leading 1-0, Cedar Crest's Kelsey Kehm turned around a cross from teammate Allison Rittle to knot the game at 1-1 in the 69
th minute.
Today, though, the Ravens would answer when
Victoria Kasper beat the keeper to her left in the 84
th minute to put Rosemont ahead to stay, 2-1.
