Men Come Up Short at Immaculata

How It Happened

The Ravens faced some challenges to keep the host Immaculata Mighty Macs off the scoreboard early in today's contest as IU scored the first goal of the afternoon only 1:16 into the game. Immaculata would add two more goals in the first half, in the 16th and 23rd minutes, to end the half with a 3-0 cushion.

The pressure from the Mighty Macs continued in the second half, as the home side added two more goals to take a 5-0 lead. The Ravens got on the scoreboard in the 86th minute off of a beautiful Alex Mathews header, five yards out (1st career goal) off of a corner kick to end the Mighty Macs' shutout bid.

Rosemont continues their play on the road for their next contest. The Ravens will take the trip to La Plume to face the Keystone Giants in a CSAC game on Saturday. Game time is set for a 5:30pm start.
